SHOWCASE....Ship Shape And Bristol Fashion by James Reynolds
Each week curators pick their favorite piece, helping you to discover fresh, artistic talent.
We are a huge fan of James Reynolds' work, not only do we find his paintings incredibly interesting but also each piece is created with incredible draftsmanship. At the center of this interest is the relationship between identity and memory through the use of self-portraiture. Every piece makes you notice new elements of another and his floating figures suggest a feeling of disconnect and isolation that is part of urban life. He’s currently busy creating new work and we can’t wait to see his practice continue to evolve!
