Celebrities Come Together To Raise Awareness For The Jeans For Refugees Initiative

Celebrities come together to raise awareness for the Jeans For Refugees initiative in aid of the International Rescue Committee.

Jeans for Refugees is a global fundraising  initiative founded by artist and designer Johny Dar. For Jeans for Refugees he paints jeans donated by celebrities, and 100% of the proceeds are donated to the International Rescue Committee to benefit refugees displaced in humanitarian crises.

The initiative began as Johny Dar's personal quest to act in response to the greatest humanitarian crisis of our time. Thanks to the support of 100 celebrities and a growing number of individuals and organisations, Jeans For Refugees has evolved into a global collective movement for positive change.

Celebrities including Salma Hayek, Sir Elton John, Sadie Frost, Mel C, and many more have donated their jeans to the initiative.

Jeans For Refugees can be framed, worn, collected or given as a meaningful, unforgettable gift. The layers of textured fabric paint transform the memorabilia into sculptural painting, creating an unconventional object at the intersection of art and pop culture.
