The Environmental Photographer of the Year competition is once again calling for entries from environmentally conscious photographers and filmmakers of all ages, nationalities and abilities. Our competition offers you the chance to use your photographic and filmmaking talents to promote an understanding of global environmental and social issues. If successful, your work will be featured by major global media and at high profile events around the world. The competition offers prize money of £6,000 and is free to enter.
Launched in 2007 by the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), and sponsored by Atkins, one of the world’s leading design, engineering and project management consultancies, the competition provides an international showcase for the very best in environmental photography and video. Atkins and CIWEM aim to inspire a global audience to think differently about contemporary social and environmental issues, including climate change, sustainable development, biodiversity and human rights.
