A group screening selected from an Open Call on the loose theme “Outside”. Deadline for submissions midnight 22 April 2016, for further details please see the website.
As part of the biennial programme we are pleased to announce an international call for artist filmmakers, from which several submissions will be selected to contribute to a group screening (60–80 minutes in duration) as part of the biennials dynamic programme. The loose theme of the open call is “Outside” and we are particularly interested in works that respond to social and political factors that underpin Moving Image’s relevance in 2016.
This call is open to those who have graduated from a graduate or post-graduate education in the past five years with works that have been made in the last two years. Applications are welcome from practitioners of all disciplines.
Successful artist filmmakers will feature in a group screening selected by a panel of Artists’ Film Biennial participating selectors.
To apply please send links to up to two works made in the last two years (2014/2015/2016), with synopsis (no more than 250 words each) and details (including title, date, format, duration) to firstname.lastname@example.org with “Emerging Artist Filmmaker Open Call” in the subject line of your email.
